Engineering capability

Whatever the job needs, not whatever we happen to like

We are not a one-platform company. Aim IT works across whatever platforms, systems, APIs and infrastructure a project calls for, and the right answer is the one that fits your business rather than the one that fits our habits.

What we cover

Four areas, and a complete system needs all four. We would rather deliver all four than hand you a piece and wish you luck.

Frontend

What your clients and your staff actually touch: trading interfaces, client portals, dashboards and admin screens that work on a phone as well as a desk, in the languages your market reads.

Backend

The part nobody sees and everything depends on: accounts, records, money movement, permissions, reporting and the automation that keeps them agreeing with each other.

Infrastructure

Servers, deployment, security hardening, monitoring and backups with tested restores, set up and looked after by the same team that wrote the software on top.

Integration

Joining your systems to each other and to the outside world: trading platforms, liquidity, payment providers, verification services, network equipment and whatever else your operation already runs on.

FIX API
MetaTrader 4 (MT4)
MetaTrader 5 (MT5)
sTrader Trading Platform
Liquidity provider integration
Expert Advisor (EAs)
High Frequency Trading (HFT)
Strategy to AI Automations

We are not tied to any one platform. Aim IT works with whichever platforms, technologies, APIs, trading systems and infrastructure suit the project. If your brokerage runs on MT4 or MT5, we integrate with it. If you want your own platform, sTrader is there. If your liquidity arrangement needs a FIX connection, we build to it. The stack follows the requirement, never the other way round.

We deliberately do not lead with a list of programming languages and frameworks. Which ones a project uses is our problem to solve, not yours to choose, and a business is not better served by a longer list. What matters is whether the thing works, whether it can be maintained, and whether someone answers when it breaks. We will of course tell you exactly what we used, whenever you ask.

MetaTrader, MT4 and MT5 are trademarks of MetaQuotes Ltd. FIX is a trademark of FIX Protocol Ltd. Aim IT names them to describe what we integrate with. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a reseller for either company.

For brokerages

Whatever your trading setup already is

Most brokerages arrive with something already running, and a plan that has to work around it. That is normal, and it is the part we are used to.

Already on MT4 or MT5

We integrate with it. Your CRM, onboarding, back office and reporting connect to the platform you already run, and your traders carry on without being moved.

Want your own platform

sTrader Trading Platform carries your brand on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and the web, licensed on a subscription rather than built from nothing.

Connecting liquidity

FIX API work and liquidity provider integration, built to whichever provider and arrangement you have agreed. We build to your setup rather than asking you to change it.

Everything underneath

The servers, the database, the deployment and the monitoring that all of the above actually runs on, set up and looked after by the same team.

How we choose

Three questions decide almost every technology decision we make.

Who maintains it after us?

If your team will take it over, we build in something they can hire for. A clever choice that only we understand is a problem disguised as a feature.

What does the data look like?

The shape of your data decides more about long-term performance than anything built on top of it, so that decision is made first and made carefully.

What already exists?

Most projects join something that is already running. Matching what your team already uses usually beats introducing a second way of doing things.

How we work with it

The stack matters less than the habits around it.

  • Version control on every project, including the small ones
  • Environments separated, so nobody tests on production
  • Credentials kept out of code and out of the browser
  • Backups configured with restores actually tested
  • Documentation written for whoever comes next
  • Dependencies kept few, because every one is a future obligation

Wondering if your stack is the problem

Often it is not. Tell us what is happening and we will look before recommending anything expensive.
